Thank you so much for "Swing The Handle". After purchasing your video collection and watching each volume several times, I now understand why this game of golf has been so difficult over the last 45 years that I've been playing it. You have managed to do for my game what countless swing devices and numerous lessons haven't been able to. I can now stand over the ball and have confidence that I will hit a good shot. Watching Volumes I and II over and over really paid off for me. The little drill with Craig T. Nelson summed up why my shots were so erratic. Mr. Merrins...I GOT IT!!!! I can't thank you enough. It's like a light went off in my head and it is now easy to understand why this game has been so hard. I am looking forward to putting what I have learned into action and if my course play is even half as good as my driving range play I will be shooting in the mid to high seventies. Using your technique and applying your non-technical methods have even improved my chipping. I can feel the difference when I stroke the shots. It's "night and day" from my old stroke and this feels ......right. The slight flinch is gone and the shots are now crisp and on line. I've loved the game of golf since I was 12 years old and believe it or not, I've fallen in love with it all over again. To quote somebody....."if I knew then what I know now.....". I heartily recommend the Eddie Merrins "Swing the Handle" video collection to all golfers like myself who know they can play better than the way they actually do. If you watch these lessons, and it may take several times as it did for me, you will understand the basic principle of the golf swing. Here's a clue.....it's on Volume I and II. The rest of the lessons are all a bonus. If you "get" what Eddie Merrins is explaining to Craig T. Nelson and then do this yourself.....you will be hitting quality golf shots. I have spent the past 10 years or so searching high and low for my golf swing, consuming popular book and video instruction like candy. I have experimented with many swing theories, from classic to modern. I have been lost in the woods. I recently went through my golf video collection and found my "Swing the Handle" DVD collection, unwatched and waiting. I played the series straight through one evening, and the next day I watched it again, trying to absorb the simple swing thoughts before I made my way to the range. At the range I proceeded to hit one pure shot after the next, watching the ball climb out and hover gently before settling down at the target. It was wonderful. I should mention my normal clubs were in for regripping and I was using an old set of blade irons. I have been back to the range twice since with the very same, if not better results. Thank you very much Mr. Merrins. You are a true gift to the game.

Mr. Merrins, I received your Swing The Handle DVD's several days ago and watched all of them right away. There are many excellent tips in this series that I find very useful. Perhaps the best one for me is the "Set-Swing" rhythm drill. The next day I went out to a course that I struggled and dreaded. Below are the amazing results due to my performing this simple drill before every shot:

- Hit 12 of 14 fairways on the Par 4's & 5's
- Drove the ball consistently 240-270yds versus 200-220yds prior to viewing your DVD's (With the same driver).
- Three GIR versus zero in most rounds
- Shaved 19 strokes from the last time I played here.

I've only been golfing for 7 months and taken zero lesson. Now I don't even consider taking any because I have your simple & effective advice to help me break 90 every time I need it. Thank you for helping me convince myself that I can play this game!

The Little Pro's CD collection is the absolute BEST golf instruction "know-how" than any other tape or book, I have ever studied. I should add that I am in possession of nearly every golf instruction manual and tape ever produced..with well over 15-20 books, and possibly 10 different tapes. Mr. Merrins makes a slow understandable process of the entire swing, so that one need NOT worry if he/she is swinging properly. He breaks it down into simplistic terms, with simple - yet productive swing thoughts, drills, and fine tuning. After watching the video ONE TIME only, I was able to produce back spin on a 7-iron - for the first time in my life. I am very disappointed that I did not discover Mr. Merrins earlier in my life. He assisted with my timing, tempo, stance, the forward "pointing" for direction of the right arm, which I have ALWAYS had difficulty with. Ironically, I have enjoyed a perfect looking swing my entire life..but before Mr. Merrins, it was not dependable. Now, I firmly believe, I understand the causes of "bad shots," and look forward to next year. I firmly beleive everyone would benefit by purchasing the moderately priced collection. The "student's" in the collection were wonderful, and I firmly agree that he is so much better than modern day instructors, that get hung up on hand placement, etc. The Little Pro teaches the absolute correct method - AND IT WORKS ! Thank you very much for sharing the most valuable golf instruction that I have ever had. I am 61 years of age and took up golf again about 5 years ago after a 30 year layoff. I basically started over again and after 5 years my handicap worked down to a 22 and has stabilized since that time. After listening to your tapes and using the "swing the handle swing thought" at several practice sessions at the practice range, my ball striking has improved so much that I am hitting the ball about 15% further with every club. My accuracy has also improved significantly. I played my first round this last Saturday after the practice sessions and scored a 91 on a par 72 layout. Doesn't sound impressive, but I bladed three chip shots and 3 putted 5 holes. A big difference was my driving and wedges. I wound up with 7 one putts - unheard of for this ole hacker. I can now foresee my handicap going down now for the first time in a couple of years. Your tapes will allow many of average hackers to get a "handle" on their game. Eddie... I am a 45 year old man that started golf, I thought, the "right way". I took lessons, got fit and ordered my clubs, didn't see a course for 3 months as I practiced and really put in the time at the range after work. I averaged a couple hours a day at the range. Please accept my thanks for the video series. It is the best golf investment I have ever made. My handicap has dropped four strokes in the last six weeks. Your teaching style is so calm and unique. It makes such perfect sense. My father brought me to the game as a young boy. He was the City Champion and the Club Champion in Amarillo, Texas in the late 50's and 60's. He was my teacher as a child. My dad developed Alzheimer's in 1978, and finally passed away in 1991. Before he developed the disease we used to have many long discussions about the golf swing. Unfortunately I was not good enough in High School to obtain a golf scholarship. However I was pretty good in track, and I ran and lettered in track at Oklahoma State University from 1974-1977. Listening to the tapes brings back thoughts of my Dad explaining the golf swing. Thanks again for releasing the DVD's. Can you tell me when your book will be re-released?

Been playing golf for 50 years, as a caddy, in the Marines, in college and in Club tournaments. No one has explained the swing to me so well. About two months ago I could not resist responding to a "classy advertisement" on the Golf Channel for the video collection. Eddie, I thoroughly enjoyed the tapes and the invaluable lessons. Alita and I remember our morning with you with fondness. My game is slowly subsiding as the Seminole Club's incredibly firm, fast greens take an anticipated toll.
